HELPING PROMOTE CHANGE FOR ANIMALS IN IRELAND
I do what I do for the love of dog...
I love dogs so much it hurts my bones!
As a pup, I was raised on the phrase "it's nice to be nice" and I strongly believe in giving back in this world. I'm honoured to be able to use Pawtrait as a platform to help better the lives of dogs and animals in Ireland and help bring about change.
For each Experience purchased, a €5 donation goes to our Pawtrait "Charity of Choice". The donation is made in whole at the end of the year, just in time for Christmas! This year I am delighted to say that the pack voted to support The Irish Blue Cross. Last year I was invited to photograph the Irish Blue Cross' Christmas cards which raised over €9,300 in funds for the charity! How amazing is that?!
Each year, I work pro bono with a large number of different animal charities, from Dogs Trust to the Miniature Schnauzer Rescue. This work ranges from event coverage, promotional photography and adoption Pawtraits' to gift vouchers for a silent auction. It's a personal and business passion of mine to help make a change and offer support in any way I can.
Outside of work, I've been volunteering with my eldest rescue pup Ozzie for 4 years through PEATA pet therapy services. We visit a local assisted-living home once a week where the residents can pet, play and cuddle up with Oz while I get treated to some wonderful conversation with the staff, a hot cup of tea and usually some lovely biscuits!
If you are a charity organisation and would like Pawtrait to help you in some way, simply get in touch and let's talk making a difference.
