WHO ARE UNDERFOOT DESIGNS?
Underfoot Designs is owned and run by two amazing ladies, Miriam and Niamh. Underfoot Designs is based on the Northside of Dublin (you guys know how I love supporting local businesses!).
Their business began based on creating bespoke logo and image mats for other Irish businesses, helping to really make an impression with gorgeous high-quality mats. Underfoot Designs has just freshly launched their latest venture…bringing personalized (eh-hem, pawsonalised) image based pet mats, right to your front door to help you celebrate just how much you love your pet!
UM, AUDREY…WHY A FLOOR MAT?
Ok, ok. Let’s face it Hairies, who actually does think about mats?
I didn’t until I saw the potential of what Miriam and Niamh are creating for pet owners who are just as unhinged as me when it comes to your pet and love showing them off at every oppawtunity. I’m pretty sure if you’re like me, everything else in your house is dog or animal based. Your cups, socks, cushions, artwork…
Why NOT a completely customized floor mat?!
I’m constantly spending money on cheap floor mats for by my backdoor for paw wiping, for under the feeding/water bowls, by the fire for sprawling or under my dog beds for a little bit of extra warmth.
These mats are usually flimsy. They fall apart, the threading comes undone or they just get grubby. Worst of all, they’re generic. You know how I hate to be generic!
Well, now thanks to these two awesome ladies, we can all now have personalized mats of our dogs instead of boring stock imagery. It’s your high-resolution image of choice printed directly onto a floor mat! They’re absorbent, hard wearing, have a high dirt-retention and best of all, cause we all have dirty paws in our life, machine washable. Winner winner gravy bone dinner!

HOW TO ENTER:
You can be in with a chance to win a one hour photographic session with me in the studio, one 9x6in matted print and your very own pet mat from Underfoot Designs. To enter our competition which is running until 12pm on Saturday May 11th, you need to make sure you like both Pawtrait Ireland and Underfoot Designs on Facebook.
And comment on the original post with a photograph of your dog, telling us why they should win this prize.

– Winner announced at 6 pm on Saturday, May 11th.
– You and your dog must be available to travel to Pawtrait Ireland’s studio in Tallaght, Co. Dublin.
– Photos will be delivered via an online gallery within up to 10 working days of your shoot.
– No digital imagery or physical prints are included in the prize value other than what is stated below.
– Your favorite image will be presented as a 9x6in mounted print from Pawtrait Ireland and a personalized doggy mat from Underfoot Designs. The same image will be provided on both prizes.
– Pawtrait Ireland will arrange delivery of your mounted print.
– Underfoot Designs will arrange delivery of your personalized doggy mat.
– No cash or voucher exchange possible.
